I am now into my fourth year of voice acting.
My setup: I use a Rode NT1-A condenser microphone, a Scarlett FocusRite 2i2 USB Pre-Amp, and Reaper to edit and optimise my files. I have a fully sound-treated, studio-quality sound booth.
I have worked with nationally recognisable brands such as Alton Towers Resort. I am the narrator for DearHolmes.com and StoicLetters.com. I love to bring life to indie creations, audio dramas and plenty more besides.
I began voice acting by writing, record, edit and producing a podcast recapping the weekly misadventures of my Dungeons and Dragons party -- something which I found that I had some natural talent for. This demanding production opened my eyes to the possibility of voice acting as a career choice.
Dungeons and Dragons is a passion of mine, as are all board gaming and fantasy pursuits. The demand for a strong narrative, great character voices and personalities, as well as the boundless arena of possibilities that one can conjure in the Theatre of the Mind keeps me coming back to the table every week. You never know what will happen.
I was born in Essex to a Welsh family and moved to Tamworth, in the West Midlands, at six years old. This young exposure to a variety of accents means that I’ve become something of an accent chameleon, easily able to pick up new accents and styles.
In 2021, I became a father; in 2023, for a second time.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, learning German, playing tabletop, board games and video games with friends and / or my partner, and am passionate about music -- particularly a few relatively obscure subgenres of metal.
VA work in bold are my strengths.
